We need more staff on factions, the only Staff that actually help on Factions are LtSpearzZ and xBMAN88. They do a good job but aren't on enough to catch all these DDoS/DDoX threats. Hopefully the Owners can decide who can be a good helper or even a moderator. "No ranks" come to the "Admin rank"and ask to ban this player he told me "he'd hack my account." We wish we could do anything to help Factions out, people quit the server everyday because all these DDoS threats and actual DDoS's. I once quit for six months cause I had it with the DDoS threats/Actual DDoS's. I wish we can improve staff size, maybe staff can make an Application for trying out for rank "Helper." It'd help the server to have more helpers/staff to ban these players that make more players leave everyday. I have screenshots of players always threatening but every time I ask a staff member to SS on skype they get nervous and decline cause they believe every player on here DDoS's. We'd be glad to help your server, Not even have commands just to help the server in a way. We just need some type of staff on the server to help these new players out. I'd love to have more staff, maybe It'd reduce all this profanity on Factions. No other servers really mention DDoS's, then when you get on factions its a whole different story. You kill someone in PVP, they say DDoS, or "Admin ranks" will threaten "No ranks" with a Ban because those players don't know they're a donator with that rank. Maybe it's time to change the staff hierarchy, they are worried of people abusing so if they added more staff ranks like {Community, ChatMod, TrialMod, Mod, Admin, OP, Co Owner, Owner}but that's just my opinion. Maybe a YouTuber rank to help advertise the server?
If by that you mean a staff member with Op, I doubt that would happen. Changing the Admin donator rank to a staff rank would confuse people, and they would not be trusted.
Administrator is the staff rank, Admin the donor rank, administrator would also be a different colour.
It was stated in a recent announcement that Collin is looking for potential staff members but will not hire them just yet.
I doubt they would give out OP, but I'd love to work with "Chatmod,TrialMod,Admin and so on. I'd love to help the server Factions out, I've played factions for more than three years.
Yeah, I have noticed that some servers are stuffed with staff while others almost never have any on them. @CollinPotato is already recruiting Helpers, which was part of the issue. Another part ot th issue is that staff never really look at Player reports enough so players believe that staff are not doing their jobs.
Most of the time, staff have others things to do than mute/ban a player who said << I will hack you!>>.
Yes, @Jess has an administrator rank on op pvp. I don't know if he has it on others servers like skyblock.
Collin is recruiting new staff members. They will be hand-picked soon by all the staff team. Mostly Collin.
That is strange "Admin" donator already confusing ppl lol why don't they rename the "Admin" donator rank to something else to stop the confusing?
But then people would be confused about staff admins and not think they were staff. Only new people would think that Admin is a staff rank.
I have been playing on the factions server since mid December 2014 and really enjoy it. I am very active on the factions server and play every day. I am willing to help out the server and take responsibility as a staff member. If I do get the staff member rank, I will be very active on the player reports and in game. (I am already active in game)
