Hello, As some of you already know, you will be able to change your Minecraft usernames beginning February 4. I have made sure to update every plugin that needs UUID support on Minetime to a UUID-based version. If you change your username, you will still have your rank, balance, etc., but we cannot be sure how well every plugin will handle name changing. Some plugins/features that may not work well with name changing are: ScoreboardStatistics on OP PvP Skywars (statistics only; balances will be okay) ChestShop on Skyblock and Survival Lockette on Skyblock AlphaChest (/chest) on all servers that have the command Even the plugins we have that do fully support UUIDs (such as PermissionsEx and Essentials) may perform unpredictably for users who change their usernames, as name changing is a completely new feature that we won't be able to test before Mojang enables it. Significantly changing your Minecraft username may also make your previously-established identity unknown to other players, as there is no way for non-staff players to tell what your old username was. Because of the reasons listed above, we advise against changing anything other than the capitalization in your Minecraft username (when this feature is still new) even though our network is seemingly ready for name changes. You may change your username if you wish, but please understand that we are unable to test the stability of this feature before it is released and issues may arise.
Thank's for the Infomation Collin Looking foward to changing my name I might call my self LewisPotato Tha goe's with my name xD
I'm think of changing my name to somthing begining with 'Lord' so everyone calls me 'Lord'. @LordOfLegion
Will there be another announcement after name changing has been added and tested? I play a lot of skyblock, and not being able to support my shop or access my private chests would be a huge blow.
"We" aren't able. If you want to change your forum name, you need to contact a forum administrator like as @Megan and @Jess
If I change my name, my friends won't know it is me. I might take something that start with x [name].
