Yes, empires is down. A new system for empires is currently being worked on, there is no ETA for this new system, but hopefully not too long. It'll be worth the wait, and to clarify, no data what so ever willbe lost. People with upgraded empires will be compensated.

If someone has the same question, tell them to see this post (or drtshocks) for reference.

 

When it comes on, they will probably make it a surprise (not telling anyone) so they can see how new server is handling. So when you log onto minetime, just walk into the portal, and see what happens

wait... so to get plug-ins we use the chest that is in the empire spawn, but that's not actually there? I remember before there was a chest, but now there's nothing ... i don't understand xD

and... most of the time i can't join anyone's empire because of the "error ... " so... how do we even get on the empire in the first place :O

 

Most of the problems you have said are bugs, the plugin chest is missing, stolen by the bugs. And I'm in confusion about not being able to join empires.

 

Like you know when you do /empire join .... most of the time it says the error message

 

I'm pretty sure almost everyone has this problem. And Trent has probably been spammed, but it could help. Just send him a email. It will be fixed eventually.

 

Yeah eventually he'll fix it. Although it is taking a while & i'd love to be able to use Empires again.

 

This one empire im playing on (@carlton36) keeps rolling back every few hours. I went mining for 5 hours, in hope that it wouldn't roll back. I sold all my stuff and got 200k. Then it rolled back.

 

Will you get 10 Plugins for enhanced/10 Dollar Rank?

 

Empires is a different server to any of the other minetime servers.
You have to donate separately on a monthly bases to get plug ins and bigger empire.
Therefore any rank you are previously on minetime will not get you anything on empires. you will need to buy separate empire specific packages to get them.
