Hmm, It's been down for a while. I am very upset. I was really looking forward to this, but now that I know this will probably be fixed in like another month, I should just forget about it.
Most people (in the earlier part of the forums), were arguing about the fact that they should get free empire perks with their current ranks… but 1) This would defeat the purpose: With timeless you get unlimited everything that would cost $80 a month and would pay for itself in 3 months. I think the owners are thinking more on yearly levels… 2) This requires a LOT of data. You need at least 1 GB (on average) to run an empire… 1100 GB is more than a TERABYTE. That's 1 of 1.2 million of the ENTIRE internet they take up. Thinking on a large scale, this is a LOT for a server. 3) Expenses: Believe it or not, Collin has a life outside of Minetime :O jk jk but still they took a lot of work to make this for us, and it's pretty amazing we have this much already. Some people who haven't spent all their money and have a little extra cash can make this game a little more fun for themselves and anyone who comes on their server.
@drtshock what ive heard a lot that empires is making other servers lag a lot please may you explain ?
It's not, they're completely separate. Furthermore, empires is not online currently, so it's even more impossible.
Where did the plugin chest go? All I can do is just make SG's, and a rare amount of people have plugins? Please Help! -xFlamable/hamster9128
Empires took 8 months to make. There are bound to be bugs and errors, I'm sure this will be fixed in time.
You can combine two messages into one with the "Edit" button. Also, the first post is pointless and can be considered "spam to increase your post count."
The first post should be reported, so a staff member can delete it. I've done that, so don't worry about it.
