Hello Minetimers, I wanted to make this thread to discuss something many of you have been anticipating. Emily and I are currently working on a Factions server reset, which we are hoping to roll out very soon. Once we have the reset ready, we'll give you all a notice 3 days in advance before we put it live on Minetime. This reset will be called the Factions 1.8 update. Here are the most notable changes: The spawn will be changed back to our old Factions spawn (looks like this; big castle) The server will be fully 1.8 (this means 1.8 world with 1.8 blocks and whatnot) All major bugs will be patched including the creeper egg dupe and infinite potions glitch Creeper spawning will be enabled (this means creeper eggs will actually work) We're not quite sure what else will be changed or added yet, but I'm sure that most of you will appreciate the features listed above. Once the reset is ready (likely less than 3 days; maybe only hours), I will make an edit at the bottom of this post giving the date and time that it will be live on Minetime. EDIT: The reset is ready and will be live on Minetime at 11:30 a.m CST on December 24.
1.8 is very laggy i have found, i have tried playing on 1.8 and it is difficult so i really do hope this works out because 1.8 is hard to stand.

Not so excited... That glitch is not really patch able.. This is exactly what people who wants factions to be destroyed want Collin, I know you may not take this into consideration, but a factions reset is a bad idea.
what happened to drtshock? doesn't he help with making new factions features, updates, etc.? or has he devoted all of his time to his other server for the time being?
