I really like Survival and it's probably my favorite server, but the lag kinda sucks. I was just wondering if there will be anything done to help tone down the lag. If not, i'll still love Survival, but i'll be slightly annoyed by the lag...

Also, i'd like to see what everyone thinks of Survival :p

If there are lag issues on ANY servers, expect them to be fixed as soon as we have the chance to get to them. Also, consider maybe getting Optifine and adjusting the settings to reduce the lag.

To install optifine, use the same method as installing a hacked client. First, press the windows button and r. Next, type in "%appdata%" without the quotation marks. Click on .minecraft and then, click on the versions folder. Copy the 1.6.4 folder and paste it. Title the copy folder as Optifine. Go in the folder and title both things Optifine. Open the .json file using notepad and delete "1.6.4" (with the quotations) and type in "Optifine" with the quotations. Click save.

Next using 7-zip or WinRAR, open the .jar file and open the optifine.rar using 7-zip or WinRAR. Copy the contents of the optifine archive to the .jar file. Delte the folder called "Meta INF" and save.

Open minecraft and click edit profile on the bottom left corner. Click on version and choose Optifine. Click save profile and press play.

    Voila! You have optifine!

I have a hackintosh. You install Mac OS X on a custom built computer. That's what I did and I get no lag :)

Apple is amazing! Just look at the security, not a single virus!

Actually, apple software can get viruses, just not as easily. My school had to put Norton on everyone of it's laptops/computers (They have hundreds) because last year someone sent a virus to the network (My school has one shared network on all the apple computers/laptops) Apple software is not full-proof.

Yes but if it is shared it is insecure.

I don't think that anything is fully protected, but Apple does a good job at trying its best to make it as good as it can.

I agree with @Amanda. There are a few viruses made for Macs, but Apple does a great job avoiding them
