Hello MineTime! Is it possible to add a plot download plug-in?? For example when a player has finished their plot, they get a mini world download that they could play offline! Plot downloads could be limited to once a month so it reduces lag. The command could be /plotme download < Although I guess its not as simple to code something like that in. Just an idea...your thoughts??
This would be a cool feature, but there isn't a plug-in for this. There are things like complete map downloads, but no partial downloads that I know of.
Nothing stops people from creating the plug-in right? (Not saying I am doing it, in addition I don't have the skills yet to develop a complete plug-in.) I love the idea and I think @Tmfilms is talking about MCEdit if I'm right. (don't think it works on servers though) I recommend the tool it's really cool If your looking for parts and items for the mod go to Sethblings own website.
I dont think it is mcedit, but there is some mod for forge (I have it , I know it exists) for downloading certain chunks of a world.
Then I don't know what your talking about but I know MCEdit also has the feature for single player worlds.
You mean find a plot and then copy it and put it on a separate wold and say its yours? You can try but sooner or later the build will show up and you will be kicked and blocked from the build team...
I am glad there is a mod available that allows users to download chunks of a world. Although that being said, it would be great if the creative server had a plot download option. I hope this can be implemented one day. Regarding this issue, I would guess a MineTime plot download option would be limited to the plot owner. Also, the Build Team application format has changed. Players must build a new structure within the Build Team server. Thus, if a player manages to download a plot, world, or building structure and claims they built it....the new Build Team application process would ensure their true building skill is demonstrated and the truth confirmed.
