So, here it is, I am gonna just cut this quick... In kit pvp, when we type the /sp commands, please make it so that they last until we log out... Right now everyone is like in the middle of some amazing, super op, spectacular fight, and there /sp speed runs out, then strength etc. Next thing you know, you cannot move, you are stuck in the air cause of fly hacks, then you are being killed by some OP hacker who still has his /sp on... I have lost 20 gapples & 5 sets of p1/p2 today, JUST because my /sp effects keep running out... -_- Also, a lot of people say stuff like "Lol runner nub mitchie_moo, get back and fight lol" then I have to explain saying "Sorry, I had to fly up to spawn because my bloody stupid /sp effects ran out", then it strikes up an entire argument on the server...
Or we could remove pvpfest completely and have real pvp going on, 'kit pvp' where you get kits and free pots, jump out and kill people without admins flying around :') But unfortunately my dreams will be crushed:-(
You could always just pay attention to how long your buffs are going to last for. It's not that hard to manage. If they run out and you die because you can't move it's not really anyone's fault but yours. 1. You could have just paid attention and then went to spawn or 2. You're using fly hacks to go faster which have the drawback of making you unable to move without /sp speed. You can always turn those off and fly normally. Having a drawback isn't always a bad thing, it keeps "op" things managed. Also if you're using fly hacks to go faster you most likely have a client that has macros. Just add a macro for all the /sp potion effects, or if you can only do one command per key (like Huzuni) then make it just for /sp speed so you can at least get away.
It's one more thing to keep track of that helps keep things interesting, remember the other person has the same disadvantage. Also, it's not that hard to type /sp speed (or the various other /sp commands) in a fight as long as you've eaten a G'apple.
