Hello fellow Minetimers, I have been mining for the past hour in A-Mine and I keep getting kicked off the server every 5-10 minutes because of how bad the lag is. I have checked that is it the lag and not any other reason. If someone could get back to me on what causing this and when it will be fixed, that would be greatly appreciated.
You are not the only one lagging, as the massive quantity of entities are mainly causing it... People are speedmining, causing the quartz to be everywhere on the ground... Even with the 'clear entities', there is still too much people on the server that are using the a-mine. My trick with this is I simply either use the B-mine, which is twice as big and has less people, or go in a-mine when there is almost no one around.
Thanks for the help. I use those tricks as well. I usually mine later at night or in the morning at 1am. I was just saying this morning was EXCEPTIONALLY bad.
If you haven't already noticed, there is a new button called "Support Tickets", yeah, you can post problems like this there with an almost guaranteed reply within 30 minutes to an hour.
It's just your internet minetime cant do much about it I get 140 fps in a-mine 200 freeman and more in ender world so yeah
in freeworld and the end, im fine too. but a-mine is just very painful concerning the lag... most people are lagging in it.
For most players, the lag they are experiencing there is client-based FPS lag due to the large volume of entities/items their PC is trying to render. There is nothing we can do about that. To help mitigate this, I recommend getting Optifine, lowering your render distance and turning off particles. Also, any options to do with graphics turn them to fast (or off if they have the option to be turned off) instead of fancy. This should help to increase your PC's performance in areas like a-mine where a lot is going on.
Your internet will time you out sometimes. Keyword is sometimes. Although lag will you to time out. Try to restart your minecraft, or turn your internet off and then back on. It can fix lag issues. What client do you use when you're mining?Try using the correct version for a little tiny bit.. if this doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you sadly. Try to turn your FPS higher, or get Optifine 1.7.10. Goodluck with your issue. Remember to keep your settings low, because this will cause your minecraft to lag frame by frame. Also try getting rid of the non-useful things on your computer. Remember to look them up before uninstalling it. -Sylvia/Gator
