Good times... Good times... I miss PowerNemesis, potatoe11, henryking3rd, dmitrik30, pmarshon, Awesomegumi, and much more players! I joined the very 6th day Infection came out! I sucked at it! But, I believed that I could do it, and I finally did, and I am one of the most over powered players of Infection! The secret is to believe in yourself that you can do it.
Gumi here, and I wanted to clear things up, and this will be my ONLY post on this site so have fun downrating or what ever because I frankly don't care. I got an notification from Guy about this thread and thought I would clear up why I left, since apparently people only pay attention to the "hacker" portion. I was on this server since It was knows as LostIslands. It was my first minecraft server and i loved it to death. I made a ton of friends and some enemies, which i really don't care about know since they were jackasses. I was on this server BEFORE all the hacking started. How would you think I would feel dealing with playing with fair and nice gamers and suddenly getting thrown into a server that allows people to cheat relentlessly without punishment. I leaned to deal with it and made friends with the hackers. When the week long shut down of the server came around for it to turn in to Minetime came around I didn't know how I would survive with out having some sort of connection with my friends. When the server joined back up, I was disappointed to see that Everyone was reset on Infection. That was the first straw. This caused a vast majority of my friends to leave, and the hackers also left for a while too. I thought Collin was actually going to listen to the players to stop the hackers. I was wrong by a long shot. When I was around prestige 1, again, I came to the conclusion that I would leave when I got maxed out. When It came to the point that I got maxed out, I started playing less. The Deadlyfe plugin came into play, which I feel like is mostly my fault and I regret ever mentioning the prestige 8-10 glitch because it's too over powered. A majority of the players again got reset, and left (even though I didn't). That was the second straw. Even though I would play as a zombie constantly after that to kill as many hackers as I could, it was never enough and they always managed to find a way to cheat. Frankly, i despise players that are pathetic enough to use hacks and then have the impudence to call them self one of the 'best players'. That was the last straw. Here's also a small tip: Don't even go over to another server I'm on and try to convince me to come back. Man_of_metal21 tried and failed. I have zero tolerance with anything rated to this server anymore. And Collin if you read this, i don't think you are a bad owner. I don't resent you for the choices you made or how you run your server. Some of the choices go against my morals, so I removed myself from the situation.
In the begining you made a list of all these people who "quit" and yea you might be right because I would see them everyday when I was playing with them last year But ever since the reset they started loosing interest of the game when you never moved up you just stayed in one rank and that's it Now we have a laggy server with a level losing bug So this might answer your questions
But even with all of this going on I still play because I want to see these people again like old times
Kyleep, I don't understand what there is to disagree with my post. I posted the names of players that I personally miss, so what is there to disagree with that?
And the new players are a lot more mean, example: someone told people on chat that a MT user died while trying to save someone in a gun fight. (I was devastated to hear this) and someone asks: can I have their account? I mean really, that's just being a jerk. So, new players, please be nice.
