May I know what it is? Ive seen many people posting reports of ddosing. I would like to know how to protect myself against it. P.S Am not accusing anyone I just wanna know how to protect myself
Basically, knocking someone's internet off. You can prevent this from happening to you buy getting a VPN or not pissing people off. I do the latter.

A ddos or dos attack is when someone remotely finds your wifi router's IP & launch attacks on it. A dos is when you just lose internet or your internet dramatically sloes down. A ddos is when it damages the actual router, causing it to flame or overheat in extreme cases. To protect your self from these you can get a VPN or a program called Norton 360. I use norton & it has blocked ddos/dos attacks many times.
Its when you piss off a mean hacker (they call their selves hackers but they are usually kids with a booter and skype resolver) P.S this is a joke
DDoSing a server is where you send so much information on people logging into it that it essentially goes 'nope' and crashes.
VPNs won't help you kids! Many resolvers have IP Histroy which shows your IP History so don't bother paying for one if the guy that is resolving you is quite an experienced haxor. Best way to not get booted offline is to probably not annoy random people and calm yourself.
