Hey guys, it's PixelLee and I have some pretty bad news... so apparently an Admin created some lag items in the form of diamonds that overload your ram. I was hosting a skin competition on my plot when a few players dropped these so called "Ram Overload Items". I picked them up thinking they were just diamonds until later I looked at them and they were named "Ram Overload Items". I decided to throw them into a lava pit. With them in my hand I began to walk over to the lava pit when my MineCraft crashed. I later found out that they give you infinite speed, jump boost, health, and more, thus causing MC to crash whenever you move or jump. Luckily it did NOT demolish my toaster, i mean computer, but I am worried for other players. While I am writing this thread a player still remains in my Skin Competition area and has been unresponsive for an hour. The name of the Admin who made it is on the item, but I cannot report them because anyone could have written that name. (#Forgery) I hope this issue will be fixed, Sincerely, PixelLee. This post reminds me of the times when everyone was using basic HTML and actually colored their text like this. Anyway, it actually hurts my eyes to read to please fix your post before seeking support.
I got this same problem read the thread below yours. I think it may be the same player I reported him.Thankfully i didnt lag out as i carefully put them in my inventory.2 players did crash at my plot though cause of this
It's easy to fix, use minechat. So log into minetime on minechat and type /server (whatever server) Then type /ci For some reason lag items don't affect you when you are on minechat. /ci should clear your inventory. Then just log back in
I just logged on and didn't move, then I put them into my inventory then into a chest. If you see anyone dropping these items make SURE that you have something in your hand, and they wont affect you.
Lag items only effect you when you're on the ground. However, lag items shouldn't work anymore because the staff implemented a new plugin to both, the creative and survival server. I'm pretty sure.
Download the Minechat app on your phone, login with that, type /creative and it will deliver you to the creative server. After that do /ci and it will clear all of the RAM OVERLOAD ITEMS! from your inventory. I hope this helped.
