Of course life can be like that. It doesn't mean that we must take life's policy into a smaller community just because things are that way. We can still try to be a good community, and we are, apart from the few users who are unpleasant.
Society sometimes works that way, sometimes, not always, and that doesn't mean that those standards need to be applied just because they are common. At Minetime, we strive for a family-friendly community. I could ignore the comment, yes, but I think you need to re-think what you are saying, so I do have a response. Responding with another insult or "retaliating" is not usually the best response, especially on the forums.
You all talk like you are the "leaders" of Minetime. You act like you run the community. You don't. So do us all a favor and stop acting like you do.
We, in fact (obviously) are not the leaders, but it doesn't mean we can't respect the rules or try to change a negative opinion. I am positive a "leader" would tell you the same thing, that you are being a bit rude right now.
Not really, knock yourself out. Others may get irritated though. I just don't like it because of the age discrimination, not because it is directed towards me as much.
You called a few others some ageist names, not what you called me, but similar. I mean, they might be irritated by that. Others might get irritated about your insult towards me, as they may just not like the way your talking, whether they care if I am being insulted or not.

Well, most people are. I also think a few others would agree, so they are on DragonDaMan and shadeslayer's side as well.
This has gotten a little out of hand. I personally doubt that any more commands will be taken away from people who donated $250 to the server. If you're all so mad about getting healed in a cave, try not trapping yourself in the cave in the first place. Furthermore, it's just pvpfest, the entire point of the server is to kill and die, if you can't handle losing every once in a while then perhaps you should pick up a different hobby. Either way, you should all try to chill out.
