Correction: there are never guards on; there are no guards. I suppose it makes it easier to PvP, but guards sort of add a challenge to Prison.
Prison used to have Guards, but they were all demoted and/or banned. :\ I don't know when Minetime will start recruiting more Guards again. Most people who play Prison daily are Legends/Veterans/Citizens/Freemen that PvP regularly because of this "no guards" issue. I suppose if Prison had more Guards, it'd make Prison more "prison-like".
The reintroduction of guards to the prison would completely change the server. As items like enchanted golden apples and strength potions are "contraband" half the server would be jailed.
True, and the prison server would feel more realistic and seem like a role play server, which I personally favor.
It would be a risk, as many of the prison players are not used to a guard. I still think one should be implemented when staff is abundant enough, but it has the possibility of driving people away.
I suppose, but many people would get used to having a guard around, as most prison servers have this implemented.
As said above they are all gone now. Some people thought that the way people got prot x and batons is by killing guards but that is wrong. There is a different way but if I say, Collin will ban me.
Guards start out as staff members. All Guards must be staff members. They may recruit more but even if they did half the server would be jailed.
Well to be honest it's the prison rules and half if the server is cheating them they they should be jailed
