Mooshroom Spawner not working?

    Does the mooshroom spawner not work properly? Does it have to be in a mushroom biome? O_0
    I tried putting grass blocks around it and also mycelium but both don't seem to work... Is there something I did wrong or is there a way to fix it?

    Mooshroom spawners have never worked for some reason probably because of bug. You cant really do anything with Mooshroom spawners except food whichu can get with /kit and /food so ratcher get spider spawners. hope i could be of help ^.^
